MULTIPLE FACETS OF SELF

This project was inspired by Julia Fullerton-Batten’s ‘School Play’ series. Instead of emphasizing the commonalities between indiviuals within a group, I inversely decided to explore the multiple facets we possess as human beings. We are so complex.

In this project I illustrate these facets of my personality while exploring the transformative property of fashion. I emphasize my ever-growing knowledge of self and passion for self-expression.

During each shoot it was important to allow myself time to channel the feelings evoked by not only the clothing but the space as well. These images were taken in common settings that I have a personal connection to.
